Our Sierra URGENT Cares are capable of handling the vast majority of medical conditions. After all initial examinations, we may determine that some patients will require further evaluation in the emergency department or direct admission to the hospital. Our Urgent Care works in a unique and highly innovative manner with the hospital to insure that our patients incur the absolute minimum level of inconvenience.
If you are suffering from a life threatening medical condition, which requires immediate attention, please seek care from the hospital nearest you.
WHEN TO CONTACT YOUR PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN
- Whenever possible, please contact your Primary Care Physician (PCP) before calling or going to the Urgent Care Center.
- Please contact your PCP for multiple symptoms or chronic illnesses.
- Please consult your PCP for primary care services, including routine office visits, health evaluations, immunizations, medication refills, and other routine procedures.
REMINDERS
- During your visit, you will be asked to pay your co-payments, if applicable, as required by your insurance carrier.
- During flu season months, (October through January), please prepare to wait longer. The number of patients we see during this time doubles.
- In some cases, you might wait longer due to the nature and severity of the illness of another patient. This same amount of time will be afforded to you should your condition so require. We ask for your patience and understanding.
URGENT CARE HOURS:
Emergency Certified Physicians and highly qualified professional staff are available to care for your medical needs 365 days of the year.
Physician on call 24 hours
Attention: Always try to evaluate your urgent medical situation before going to the Emergency Room, as your co-payment for an Emergency Room visit will be considerably higher than your co-payment at the Urgent Care. However, if you are suffering from a life threatening medical condition, which requires immediate attention, please seek care from the Emergency Room nearest you or call 911.
